The Opportunity
We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Nightshift Factory Operator to join a busy production team. This hands-on role involves operating machinery, carrying out quality checks, and supporting the Leading Hand with nightshift responsibilities. If you’re mechanically minded, self-motivated, and enjoy working with a small, supportive crew, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
Operate blow moulder machines (start, stop, unjamming, adjustments, minor repairs).
Packaging and bagging bottles, restocking storage levels.
Conduct quality control checks (weighing, testing, inspecting bottles).
Assist the Leading Hand with nightshift duties (sanitisation, cleaning, greasing, conveyors, regrind room).
Cover plant operations during breaks/leave (production reporting, stock level management, shift handovers, managing general hands).

Shift Details
6:00 pm – 6:00 am, 4 days on / 4 days off
12-hour shifts with 3 x 30 min paid breaks
$28.48 per hour (with pay progression opportunities after 6 months)
What We’re Looking For
Mechanical aptitude and confidence with hands-on work.
Factory/production experience preferred, but not essential.
Self-motivation and initiative – able to work independently.
Physically fit and comfortable with 12-hour night shifts.
